I can't believe I just wrote that.
This appears to be real.
Park your bike, activate system.
If the bike moves more than 50 meters, the handlebars explode.
Just like my head did reading about it, then a second time writing it.
We need a #twowheelscrazy tag for this.

... who the fuck thought this was a good idea?
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

They say that the Nicaraguan government used them to take down a bike thief ring. There is literally nothing about it on Google. Suspicious? Neither with the Warsaw story. This much explosive power is not legal in any civilized country. It's inhumane, and could be compared to landmines or unsecured, unsafe explosives. I really hope this is fake and goes nowhere.

As awesome as it is I think they would have an easier time selling it if it had a battery that sent a shock to the handlebars instead.

Yeah that's stupid. I'd rather not destroy my bike just to stick it to a petty thief. I'd much rather get the GPS tracker that hides in the headset or the seat tube, activate it, then go pick up my stolen bike at my leisure. The bike thief is foiled and the bike remains usable. Win-win.
